2014 Global Information Vendor Conference (Suzhou)

Overview

 

The Third Shanghai Stock Exchange Global Information Vendor Conference has been held from 23rd April to 25th April 2014 at Garden Hotel, Suzhou.

The welcome speeches at opening ceremony were given by Ms. Dujuan WAN, Vice President of Shanghai Stock Exchange and Chairman of SSE InfoNet Ltd. and Mr. Bo QUE, Vice President of Shanghai Stock Exchange and Chairman of China Investment Information Services Ltd. More than 80 peers joined the conference, including CIIS partners, such as China Securities Index Company Limited, Dalian Commodity Exchange, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, China Financial Futures Exchange, Deutsche Boerse and Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Apart from our partner, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore Stock Exchange, Shanghai Futures Exchange and China Exchanges Services Company Limited, and around twelve large oversea information vendors also came to the conference.

As 2014 is the 20th anniversary of establishment of CIIS, CIIS and Deutsche Boerse have purposely signed the strategic co-operation agreement for market data services in the conference. The co-operation with Deutsche Boerse is a concrete step towards internationalization of Shanghai Stock Exchange and CIIS. 

Besides, the conference aims to give opportunities for peers sharing their views on market data products, development and technology. There were some fruitful presentations given by exchanges and information vendors, and detailed discussions on the challenges and opportunities of market date industry.
